We Gon’ Be Alright

August 30, 2020August 31, 2020by Rachelle Lee1 Comment on We Gon’ Be Alright

The hits just keep on coming. More and more, I feel like I'm barely keeping my head above water. Once I get over one thing and make peace with it, here comes another. My ability to cope and manage life has begun to take a toll. I've been feeling as if there is a weight [...]

Hey Sunshine!

Welcome to my “little blog that could”, My name is Rachelle Lee and I am a teacher, blogger, and mentor. I’m also a daughter, sister, bestie, and the worst connect 4 player. Despite this, I love the game. I just think it’s really fun.  My purpose in life is to educate, encourage and empower those around me. I want everyone around me to become the best version of themselves and allow their inner light to shine through.

In my spare time you can find me with a cup of tea and a good book because no matter how hectic, I still must find time to stop and smell the roses.

The perfume world is a different world. As my interest grew in scents, so did my knowledge.
For months I have been on the hunt for the best scent for me. A signature scent that embodies all that I am, all I want to be, smells AMAZING, and lasts for hours.
I don’t know when it happened but it happened.
@ibibyyemi was created for people who use fashion to make a statement, and don’t mind standing out. Each piece is designed and made with love and care.
@ibibyyemi is a fashion brand determined to bring out the exceptional beauty in every woman.
Day 2 of the trial and my heart aches for Darnella (17) and her little cousin (9)
The older I get the more I realize how justice and the criminal justice system rarely show up for marginalized groups, especially Black people. I really hope George Floyd and his family get all they they are seeking.
Day 2 of the trial of the Dereck Chauvin trial.
Y’all I don’t know when it happened or how it happens BUT this love affair between @ultabeauty and I is serious. They have everything! What I love most is the huge selection of black owned and woman owned companies. I get to be selective with coins without the hassle.
