Children of Blood & Bone

In honor of the release of Children of Virtue and Vengeance, the 2nd book in this Afro-futurism trilogy I thought a review of the 1st in this series is necessary. I give this book 2 snaps and a twirl. Let me start by saying this...As a a Nigerian born American I feel that I am [...]

Hey Sunshine!

Welcome to my “little blog that could”, My name is Rachelle Lee and I am a teacher, blogger, and mentor. I’m also a daughter, sister, bestie, and the worst connect 4 player. Despite this, I love the game. I just think it’s really fun.  My purpose in life is to educate, encourage and empower those around me. I want everyone around me to become the best version of themselves and allow their inner light to shine through.

In my spare time you can find me with a cup of tea and a good book because no matter how hectic, I still must find time to stop and smell the roses.

Sunshine, how are you feeling?
🗣️REMINDER TO SELF‼️
The word for Tuh-DAY is…..
One thing for certain and Two things for sure I will ALWAYS take a bath to recharge. Life gets hard and overwhelming and I find it difficult to cope. I don’t take these baths often but when I do, Sunshine I’m gonna add some razzle dazzle. This one was rose petals and and some tea lights.
This month I’m focusing on my self care. It can be so hard to be intentional about one’s personal care…especially when we find ourselves caring for others. Here is a free calendar to help you get started and hold you accountable. That’s right $FREE.99 jus for you Sunshine.
