Botanical Gardens

Atlanta Botanical Gardens was nothing short of breathtaking. It is crazy what people can do with plants and flowers. Throughout the gardens are sculptures and exhibits. The frogs were my fave. Keep an eye out. Each one is unique, but compliments the other.

The Earth Goddess located in the garden is stunning in person. There is a majestic component to this exhibit that can’t really be described. If you’re anything like me you immediately thought of Moana. My niece is 5 now, but it was only a few years ago, that the movie Moana was literally on repeat. We watched that movie over and Over and OVER. Te Fiti was one of my fave characters and she is beautiful. I’m sure she was the inspiration for this piece. We know how that company that shall reamain nameless is. They are really stingy with their images, music, and name. No surprise here that they named this the Earth Goddess.

Next up as the journey continued through the garden we were met with huge lotus flowers sitting on water. They were so cool. Throughout the gardens are a few bars. If you get hungry or thirsty there are options for you to grab a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) or quiet the rumblings of your tummy. If you visit ATL anytime soon, be sure to check this place out. You won’t regret it.
