Running through the 6 with my…lol No woes over here Sunshine. My mom, sis, and I usually take a trip every year to celebrate Easter. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 all trips have been canceled. Last year we went to Canada. We stayed in an airbnb instead of a hotel and drove instead of flying to minimize cost.
The drive wasn’t that bad. All in all it was bout 7-8 hours give or take. Upon arrival customs was quick too. We gave our passports and answered a few questions before they sent us on our way. Once in Canada we decided to see the falls 1st as we would be staying in Toronto. Lemme be the one to tell you Niagara Falls is it’s own thing! There are tons of shops and restaurants and really we probably should’ve done a weekend instead of a few hours. Welp! It is what it is. Nothing and I mean NOTHING can prepare you for this wonder. I mean it is miles and miles of just natural beauty and awe.

Toronto was about another 2 hours away. After that journey and stopping at the falls we were ready to get some grub and rest. Two places that I feel are a must are Mona’s Roti and Cacao 70. Our airbnb host Rado met us upon arrival and was very kind. The room was as pictured, clean, and he even had water and snacks waiting for us.
I’m someone who likes to be in the city exploring. As a result, it only made sense to get the Toronto City Pass and it was totally worth it. I did the CN Tower, Casa Loma, and Royal Ontario Museum. I enjoyed them all but it rained almost every day. Needless to say the experience would’ve been better with favorable weather. Canada has good vibes. If you live on the east coast and are up for it, gather some friends and make it a road trip. I enjoyed it so much, I would love to go again. That’s saying a lot because I usually don’t visit places twice.
Let Your Canada, In the 6 Light Shine!
